Puffy Eyes

Faye became so puffy and swollen yesterday that her fingers left imprints on her face when she had her head in her hands. Today both eyes are puffy. The doctors' guesses are that it's either a virus or an allergic reaction. They gave her some antibiotics for the virus scenario and she's finished getting her chemo for this round so if it's an allergic reaction hopefully it will start to go away soon. She's still SUPER itchy so hopefully that goes away soon as well.
She got a visit from Elmo,Big Bird and Cookie Monster today!

And when the nurse came in to change her dressing she told him "Just take it off".... rather than use the wipes that makes it easier to pull the stickiness off. She sure is getting TOUGH!
She and Stacey made a Happy 4th Birthday sign to put on her door tomorrow and this morning she wanted to walk around with it and advertise her birthday to everybody! She is so stinking funny!

I hope the Eye's start to feel a bit better and all puffiness goes away!

And heck yeah, Faye should wear a Birthday Banner! Oh I am sure she will "wake up" that hospital floor tomorrow!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FAYE!

Happy birthday tomorrow sweet girl. Stace, I remember clear as anything when you had her. Jen and I came to see you at the hospital, I was so happy that she was a girl. And such a cute girl at that. I remember feeling a tiny bit jealous cause I was supposed to have been due at the same time (the miscarriage), anyways, I was afraid I would feel sad when I saw you and her and was so surprised when I felt nothing but happiness for you. She just looked so perfect there laying in your arms, I remember she had a cute little hat on then too. So fitting. Anyways, love you guys. Thinking of you tomorrow and every other day. Happiest of birthdays sweet Faye, just a minor bump in the road. Next year, lets plan a big ol' party here in Utah. When our girl is cancer free and we can all celebrate. Lots of love!!

Happy birthday tomorrow little Faye! I thought of her this morning remembering it was her birthday tomorrow 7/7/07. I hope it is a happy one for her, well as reasonably happy as it can be.

Puffy eyes that's no birthday present, she's a little trooper. I have got her a present all picked out, (hopefully it's okay that I just bring it with me, in only 9 days). But who's counting right!!
